KAB Head Office in Maidstone
KAB has six local rehabilitation teams throughout the region, three based at KAB Sight Centres in Maidstone, Canterbury and Bromley, and three based in offices in Gravesend, Dover and Medway. We also have two workers based at Inspire, the agency serving Bexley.
All six teams provide comprehensive rehabilitation services, mainly on an outreach basis in services users' own homes. Each team has a specialist Rehabilitation worker for people who have learning disabilities.

As well as being a base for rehabilitation teams, our Sight Centres provide additional services. These include:
- Resource rooms displaying a range of equipment and new technology
- Low vision clinics offering assessment and provision of low vision aids (magnifiers). Optometrists will also demonstrate good lighting and specialist viewing techniques to make best use of remaining vision
- Skills Training courses for people with all levels of sight impairment
- Awareness Training courses for carers and professional workers
- Meeting spaces for events and specialist support groups
- Information and Assistive technology training and support; home visits are also available in some areas
- Volunteer Coordinators are based in each office. Their role is to coordinate the work of the 900 plus volunteers who provide essential support for KAB's work
